WOW! This is the most unique mountain retreat that you will ever find with waterfalls cascading all around. There are two beautiful waterfalls here; one is 30 feet high. Grandpa has built steps down to overlook both of these beautiful waterfalls. You can go wading in the water or you might just want to try your luck with a fishing pole. These waterfalls are a part of the rushing trout stream “Tiger Creek” in Beautiful Rabun County, Georgia. Tiger Creek Falls Inn is located in the North Georgia mountains here in the Appalachian Mountain chain. Nestled in the woods, you are surrounded by beautiful pine trees that are hundreds of feet high with walk around decks that make you feel like you are part of the forest. Grandpa is installing a brand new playground just in time for summer vacation. Even though we are surrounded by forest, we are only 4 1/4 miles from the town of Clayton where there is a Walmart Supercenter to supply most of your needs. This such a beautiful place to visit and there is so much to see and do close by. Click here to see nearby activities. If you like hiking, you might like to hike the famous Tallulah Gorge. It's only about a 10 minute drive from Tiger Creek Falls Inn. If your children want a full day of fun, take them to the Fun Factory, located in nearly Franklin, NC about a 20 minute drive from Tiger Creek Falls Inn. They can ride a beautiful carousel, ride bumper cars and go carts, play lazer tag or putt putt golf, bowling, or play games in the big arcade. They have a pizza eatery or you can go to the "Boiler Room" which is a full service restaurant.

Nearby Lake Rabun and Lake Burton are well known hot spots as well as the world famous river rafting on the Chattooga River. If you want to go swimming, the Rabun County Recreation Department has a pool open to the public. It's open 7 days a week and it's only five minutes from Tiger Creek Falls Inn. This area offers great scenery for horseback riding as well. Just a few miles from Dillard, Ga and Highlands, NC this is a great place for so many things to do and see. World known restaurant "Dillard House" offers three levels of horseback riding, a petting zoo, and excellent country style food with an unbelievable view. In Dillard, you can also find Andy's Trout Farm, a great place to take the kids fishing where overstocked ponds guarantee a nice catch. You can even rent the pole and purchase your bait right there. There is no admission fee. A five minute drive into Tiger, GA offers you one of the few remaining drive-in theatres in the United States at the Tiger Drive-In which shows current movies for your viewing pleasure. Also in Tiger, adults can visit the "Tiger Mountain Winery" for daily wine and cheese tastings for only $5 per person. And please don't overlook a now famous tourist attraction called "Goats on the Roof". This is a great place to take the kids and yes, there really are goats on the roof; a place where kids can feed and pet tiny goats and watch them climb in and out of their houses and cross overhead bridges. They also offer home-made ice cream, local made crafts, jellies, jams and desserts. There are hiking and biking trails and literally dozens of nearby waterfalls to explore. From our state parks to trout fishing, antique shopping, crafts, apples, restaurants, river rafting, tubing, horseback riding,  gem mining, golf, tennis, skiing and so much more the northeast Georgia mountains offers a wide variety of recreation for everyone. Sometimes just relaxing and enjoying the waterfalls and bold stream here in the spectacular mountain setting is the perfect mountain get-a-away experience.
